What is an Adaptogen?

Reishi - called the "herb of
good fortune", has been used for

centuries throughout Asia. This herb is

Cordyceps - is one of the primary
herbal substances used in tonic

Astragalas - Traditionally called

Astragalas is known for it's amazing
strengthening effects, particularly to

Codonopsis - is believed to have
an action similar to Ginseng, but
milder. Codonopsis is extremely
effective at relieving fatigue. Its

Schizandra - is used to sharpen
concentration, improve memory, and
increase alertness. Various tests have
shown that moderate therapeutic doses
can improve activities requiring
concentration, fine coordination,
sensitivity and endurance. Chinese women
have historically held Schizandra in
very high favor, because of its
beauty-enhancing qualities. It has been
used for centuries by both men and women
to promote vigor and alertness.
Polygonum - is used for
maintaining youthfulness and for
providing overall strength to the body.

tendons, ligaments, bones, and helps
prevent premature aging.
Lycium Fruit - has long been used

Licorice - is the most commonly

Ramazanov, "Rhodiola rosea is a
