suggests it may aid in the production of new liver
cells, and help the body balance the inflammatory
response.
Garlic's
use as a cleansing and detoxifying agent predates
written history. In-vitro research shows that the
sulfur compounds found in garlic bind to heavy
metals so, scientists theorize, they can then be
more easily excreted from the body.
Chlorella,
an algae that contains chlorophyll, is included for
its ability to support the cleansing of the
bloodstream. Chlorella is also high in protein, and
it is one of the few vegetable sources of vitamin
B-12.
Algin
and pectin are both gel-forming fibers found in
seaweed, fruits, and vegetables. Pectin can help

detoxifier. Studies show it enhances the flow of
bile, a highly acidic substance produced in the

dandelion also supports the function of the
gallbladder and liver, resulting in a greater
ability of these organs to support digestion and
cleanse the blood.
