Sublingual tablets; Alpha-Chymotrypsin 2.5 mg; Escharase 40 mg; Activity 1000 GDU activity/tablet >anti-inflammatory<

Kymozym™ formula combines the anti-inflammatory action of escharase--a non-proteolytic principle of  the Bromelain group--and Alpha-Chymotrypsin of beef pancrease. The Kymozym™ tablets are designed for buccal use which facilitates instantaneous cross-membrane activation of Plasminogen and the absorption of substantial amounts of intact enzyme factors.

Main uses of Kymozym™ tablets include:

Post operative administration for use in cosmetic, dental or general surgery

Pain relief in spasmodic dysmenorrhea and/or shortening of labor

Minor aches and pains including back strain and/or persistent muscle soreness

Dosage and administration of Kymozym differs depending on its intended use.

Nutritional note...In a 1961 study, 80% of patients using an escharase and/or alpha-chymotrypsin formula after surgery exhibited a marked reduction in pain, fever, swelling and inflammation.  In other studies scientists also found acceleration of wound healing and remarkable reduction in scar tissue formation (this action is probably due to the systemic action of escharase, a prostaglandin-e activator of the Bromelain enzyme group).
