Restorative Formulations

Restorative formulations play a critical role in the rejuvenation of those people who have exhausted themselves and have seriously drained their deepest energy reserves of Yin and Yang Jing. These formulas restore the deepest energies of the body. They generally aim deeper than rejuvenation formulas, which aim deep, but also aim to nourish all levels of energy. Those who have burned themselves out generally cannot recover with rest alone. They require a restorative program of tonic herbs. Restorative Formulations

Restorative Formulations have to provide quick, efficient, highly effective restoration of the three treasures. The Jing tonics must be rich in Yin so that the body fluids and hormones can restore. These formulas have the capacity to restore a very depleted system. They feature herbs like Tortoise Shell, Rehmannia and Dendrobium. Taken consistently for several months, these formulas will restore the Jing, Qi and Shen to the body.

Discussion

All of the following formulations are composed primarily of Kidney tonic herbs, sources of Yin Jing. This is because Yin is the fuel of life, and it is the depletion of Yin that results in chronic fatigue, or actually, chronic exhaustion. Some restorative formulations contain Yang Jing herbs as well. In addition, all the formulations contain at least one astringent herb used to "lock" the Jing in the Kidney. This is an essential component. It prevents the leaking of energy that causes chronic fatigue.

Restorative formulations may be consumed continuously until energy is fully restored. Older people can continue to take restorative formulations on an on-going basis.

Dendrobium Primal Yin Replenisher formulation is designed for people who are dangerously Yin Jing deficient and who show many physical manifestations of degeneration. The formula has a cold energy so that it can quell what are called "false fire" conditions such as chronic fevers and hot flashes. Even the Rehmannia is the raw variety, which has a very cooling, anti-inflammatory effect. The Dendrobium is extremely effective at replenishing depleted body fluids and Yin Jing. The Tortoise shell is a profound Yin Jing restorative substance. Dendrobium Primal Yin Replenisher is not vegetarian. This formula should only be taken until Yin Jing is restored to a safe level and heat symptoms have ceased. At that time, another restorative formula should be taken that is not so extremely cool, such as Super Shou Wu Combination or Rehmannia Six Combination.

Essence Restorative Formula and Super Essence Restorative Formula are complete essence restorative formulations, with herbs that tonify both Yin and Yang Jing. They are extremely powerful, containing some of the most powerful restorative herbs. They are suited to those people who have burnt the candle at both ends for too long. They are capable rekindle the fire of life. These formulas contains Tortoise shell as the primary ingredient. They also contain both raw and prepared Rehmannia so as to tonify completely tonify Jing while removing false fire. These formulas also tonify Yang Jing. Essence Restorative Formula and Essence Restorative Formula are especially good for people who suffer from lung weakness and pale, sallow complexion. They are superb rejuvenation formulas for the young or old, male or female, at times of depletion.

Cordyceps is a particularly good herb for restoration. It is both a powerful Yin and Yang tonic. It strengthens the Kidneys and Lungs. It is an ingredient in Supreme Protector. It may be consumed as a single herb formula to hasten restoration of one’s health and recovery from deep exhaustion.
