Life itself is innately stressful. Virtually any rapid
change in one's environment can be defined as a
biological stress. Anything that causes the body or mind
to have to make a rapid adjustment so as to maintain its
integrity is a stress factor. Thus something so simple
as a change from daytime warmth to nighttime cold

systems and shortens our life span. Stress clearly ages
